Patrick Garnder is a Principal and Co-Founder of Vellum Mortgage. Patrick focuses on cultivating cost efficiencies and streamlined work processes to assist in greater production capacity and redefining customer service levels. He has been the major driving force in creating, developing, and implementing Vellum’s unique mortgage process, Elevate. Patrick is passionate about spotting issues with systems, drilling through the details and developing unique and viable solutions. In his career, Patrick has originated over $1 Billion in residential mortgages and over the last 5 years has served as a company board member and executive in the industry.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending his free time with his wife, three daughters and their family dog, Hudson. If he’s not searching the course for his lost golf balls, he might be wake surfing, enjoying live music, cheering on the Tennessee Vols or even teaching himself how to play instruments.
Currently Patrick sits on the board of the Mortgage Bankers Association Metropolitan Washington (MBAMW) and Chairs the board of the Eastern Ridge School, an early education preschool. Patrick has a BA from James Madison University and an MBA from University of Maryland, Robert H Smith School of Business.
